MNS-UET hosted its first-ever Final Year Project Exhibition 2025, inaugurated by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Engr. Tahir Sultan. The event was successfully organized by the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC).
Under the visionary leadership and motivation of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Engr. Tahir Sultan, the University successfully developed its own online admission portal. Inspired by his guidance, the Department of Computer Science took the lead and accomplished the development of the portal.
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNS UET) Multan celebrated World Environment Day with immense passion and enthusiasm. A dynamic and informative event was organized to raise environmental awareness among students, faculty, and staff.
During the event, faculty members delivered thought-provoking speeches, emphasizing the urgent need for environmental consciousness in light of the current global ecological challenges. The Registrar and heads of various departments also shared their perspectives on promoting a sustainable mindset.
The chief guest of the event, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Tahir Sultan, reiterated the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability in his keynote address. He emphasized that academic institutions, especially MNS UET Multan, play a crucial role in nurturing responsible citizens and promoting eco-friendly innovation.
A major highlight of the day was the Environment Walk, organized by the university. Faculty members, students, and administrative staff actively participated in the walk, symbolizing the university community’s unity and commitment to environmental protection and the efficient use of natural resources.
Vice Chancellor Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, contributed to the Vice Chancellors’ Conference for redefining the future of higher education in Punjab. His focus was on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning through the implementation of the Flipped Classroom Model, continuous innovation in course content, providing hands-on experience to students through Hi-Tech labs, enabling students to earn Rizq-e-Halal by starting their own businesses, preparing them for the global job market, and instilling high ethical values.
