Industrial Liaison Office (ILO) is committed to serve as a bridge between industry and the academic/research community. At ILO, we work hard to build and preserve connections with industries, alumni, and graduates so they can engage with students to provide a numerous worthwhile opportunities and placements. Its main objective is to promote cooperation, cultivate alliances, and guarantee that the institution’s research and innovations are put to use in the business and industrial sectors.

 

ILO Mission Statement

To establish collaborations, for the facilitation of technology transfer, recruitment drives development, enabling knowledge and projects sharing between the university, industry and Government to ensure quality education.

Terms of Reference (TORs) for Industrial Liaison Office

§  Strengthen linkage between the university and industries.

§  Identify and establish collaboration opportunities, such as internships, joint research, and consultancy projects.

§  Maintain records of all industry interactions, collaborations, and placements.

§  Develop and maintain a database of industry contacts and job openings.

§  Provide feedback to the university on industry needs to align academic programs with market requirements.

§  Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum relevance to industrial practices and emerging technologies.

§  Promote joint research projects between faculty and industry to enhance Research and Development Support.

§  Engage alumni working in industries to mentor students and create networking opportunities.

§  Ensure all collaborations comply with university policies and ethical standards.

§  Handle confidentiality agreements responsibly.
