MNS-UET Hosts Capacity Building Program for University Management under NAHE–HEC National Outreach Program
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNS-UET), Multan, in collaboration with the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE)–HEC Islamabad, successfully hosted a Capacity Building Program for University Management under the National Outreach Program from June 23 to June 27, 2025, at the Conference Hall, GCT, MNS-UET Multan. The program was led by Prof. Dr. Tahir Sultan, Vice Chancellor MNS-UET, and featured distinguished resource persons including Dr. Aqsa Shabbir (Associate Professor, LCWU Lahore), Dr. Ruqia Safdar Bajwa (Assistant Professor, BZU Multan), Dr. Muhammad Afzal (Advisor Development Projects, Planning Commission, Government of Punjab), and Mr. Muhammad Munir Qasim (Deputy Financial Advisor, Pak Army). The initiative aimed to enhance managerial, administrative, and strategic capacities of university leadership and management professionals through expert insights and interactive sessions, reinforcing MNS-UET’s commitment to quality enhancement, effective governance, and institutional development under the supervision of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), MNS-UET Multan.
MNS-UET Organizes NAHE–HEC National Outreach Program for Faculty Development
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNS-UET), Multan, in collaboration with the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE)–HEC, successfully organized the National Outreach Program for Faculty from May 05 to May 30, 2025, at the Conference Hall, GCT, MNS-UET Multan. The program was conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor MNS-UET, and featured eminent scholars and academic leaders as resource persons, including Prof. Dr. Asghar Nadeem Syed (University of the Punjab, Lahore), Prof. Dr. Saeed Akhtar (Retired Professor, BZU Multan), Dr. Shazia Qayyum (University of the Punjab, Lahore), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Siddiqi (University of Central Punjab, Lahore), Dr. Nazia Suleman (COMSATS University, Vehari), Dr. Abid Rashid Gill (The IUB, Bahawalpur), Prof. Dr. Zubair Iqbal (Vice Chancellor, BZU Multan), Dr. Yasir Nawab (Vice Chancellor, University of Kamalia, Toba Tek Singh), and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Adeeb (Pro-Rector, NCBA&E Bahawalpur Campus). The initiative aimed to enhance pedagogical skills, academic leadership, research capacity, and quality assurance practices among faculty members, reflecting MNS-UET’s strong commitment to professional development and academic excellence under the supervision of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), MNS-UET Multan.
QEC MNS-UET Organizes SAR and OBE Training Session
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), MNS-UET Multan, organized a training session on Self-Assessment Reports (SAR) and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) for non-engineering faculty on 24th October 2024. The session focused on improving faculty understanding of quality assurance frameworks and effective implementation of OBE practices in line with HEC standards.

The session provides step-by-step guidance on the SAR process, evidence collection, compliance mapping, and best practices, supporting departments in achieving and sustaining accreditation and quality benchmarks.
