Directorate of Industry Linkages & Career Placement is committed to serve as a bridge between industry and the academic/research community. At Directorate of Industry Linkages & Career Placement, we work hard to build and preserve connections with industries, alumni, and graduates so they can engage with students to provide a numerous worthwhile opportunities and placements. Its main objective is to promote cooperation, cultivate alliances, and guarantee that the institution’s research and innovations are put to use in the business and industrial sectors.

To establish MNSUET as a leading hub of industry–academia collaboration, producing highly employable graduates through meaningful industry linkages, structured internships, and effective career placement.

Mission Statement

To develop and sustain strategic partnerships with industry, facilitate quality internship opportunities for students, and ensure successful career placement of graduates through structured engagement, capacity building, and market-oriented initiatives.

1. Industry Linkage

Develop formal partnerships with national and international industries through MoUs and collaborative platforms
Establish Industry Advisory Boards for each academic department
Facilitate joint projects, consultancy, and industry-sponsored labs
Organize industry visits, guest lectures, and engagement forums

2. Internship Facilitation

Ensure 100% structured internship opportunities for all eligible students
Develop a centralized internship placement system and database
Standardize internship policies, evaluation, and feedback mechanisms
Strengthen summer internship programs with leading industries

3. Career Placement of Graduates

Establish a robust employer network for job placement
Organize annual job fairs, career expos, and recruitment drives
Provide career counseling, CV development, and interview preparation support
Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain alumni career database

4. Skills & Employability Development

Conduct training in soft skills, communication, and workplace readiness
Introduce industry-relevant certifications and short courses
Bridge skill gaps identified by employers

5. Data, Monitoring & Continous Improvement

Develop a digital portal for internships, placements, and employer engagement
Maintain KPIs such as placement rate, internship coverage, and employer satisfaction
Regularly assess industry needs and align academic programs accordingly
