Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNS-UET) is a public sector higher education institution established in 2012 on the initiative of former Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif. The university was founded to provide quality professional education in the southern region of Punjab.

Currently operating from the premises of Government College of Technology (GCT), Multan, the university is committed to academic excellence, innovation, and student development. A new main campus spanning 210 acres is planned near Bahawalpur Road, Multan, to further expand its academic and research facilities.

UI Green Metric World University Ranking 2022

MNS UET has continuously been contending for various global competitions. The university has participated in UI Green Metric world university rankings for the very first time, and got 957th position, in 2022 rankings. MNS UET ranked on number 55 among Pakistani universities. In the ranking for year 2022, almost one thousand universities from 84 countries participated. MNS UET has shown excellent performance and scored significantly in some areas, including Infrastructure, Transportation, Education & Research, and Energy & Climate Change.

New Campus Development in Larr

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology, Multan is continuously expanding its academic and research facilities to provide a modern and innovative learning environment for students. As part of this vision, the university is developing a new campus in Larr, which will significantly enhance educational opportunities in the region. This upcoming campus is being designed with modern infrastructure, advanced laboratories, spacious classrooms, research centers, and student support facilities to meet international educational standards.
